SandyWelcome to Sandy’s Food blog.

It captures the food and recipes from a Jamaican Chinese Hakka heritage and from time spent in Canada, US, China, Singapore and South East Asia.

Ive had the luxury of living in North America and Asia.   It mirrors my split heritage – Chinese born in Jamaica,  raised in Canada and living in Asia.  This blog is to capture some of what I’ve seen and tasted. This is primarily a food blog with links to a sister site on travel, The Sandy Chronicles and   photos on my Flickr account.

Reader beware: This is a food blog but not necessarily a recipe one. The recipes are not proven to be repeatable.  The ingredient lists are true but the measurements approximate. Like most home cooks, I normally adjust to taste.
